How do these stations work?
Each laptop is set up with a single home screen containing only our approved Hour of Code activities. Children simply choose an activity and follow the built-in tutorials at their own pace - no login, password, or personal information required. The stations are plug-and-play, fully monitored by staff, and designed to be easy for beginners.
What kinds of activities are available?
Children will use Hour of Code's learning-focused challenges, which introduce coding, logic, and digital creativity through age-appropriate games and puzzles. Activities range from simple visual coding to more advanced block and text-based coding, depending on each child's comfort level.
Are the laptops safe?
Absolutely. Each device is locked down so only our curated list of educational STEM websites can be accessed. There is no open internet browsing, no YouTube, and no unrelated games. This ensures a safe, controlled environment fully focused on learning.
How much screen time will my child have each day?
Each child will be allowed one 30 minute session each week to explore and develop their skills.
